Come Learn about the
             California Cultural Data Project

Discover how to let your data work for you.
Attend a California CDP Training Session.

The California Cultural Data Project (California CDP), which launched on January 4, 2008, is the most ambitious and comprehensive effort ever to gather and analyze information about the contributions of the cultural sector to California’s economy and quality of life.

The Cultural Data Project was first launched in Pennsylvania in 2004 and in Maryland in 2007. The project is now serving as a national model and California is the next new state to adopt it.

The California CDP will provide a standardized online system for collecting historical financial and organizational data to be used in grant applications to many of the participating funders throughout California. Organizations only need to complete a Data Profile (the online form used for collecting financial and other operational information) once each fiscal year.

We encourage you to attend a training session and learn more about how your organization can get started in using the California CDP for upcoming grant applications and for your own use.

Get the most from the California CDP.
Attend a New User Training Session.

This important training session will show you and your staff how to enter data into the system. Once complete, all you have to do is click a button and the report you need to submit with your application to participating funders will be generated. Furthermore, you will have access to powerful reporting tools that you can use to run annual reports, view trends in your organizational performance, and shortly, you will be able compare your organization to others (in aggregate).

This event is hosted by
the Riverside Arts Council.

This training session is offered in partnership with The Foundation Center's grantwriting workshop for the James Irvine Foundation's new Creative Connections Fund grant program.

Refreshments will be served.

Free parking is available on either side of the Cesar Chavez Center.

If you have problems registering,
call the California CDP at 1-866-9-CAL-CDP.

The California Cultural Data Project is made possible through the leadership of California Arts Council, Los Angeles County Arts Commission, The Getty Foundation, The James Irvine Foundation, The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation
and is administered by The Pew Charitable Trusts
